01Information we handle

Arbor is designed to minimize the data it touches. Here's what's involved:

• On your device: the cards you favorite, your breathwork history, your streaks, your selected categories, and app preferences such as reminder time and audio settings. This stays on your device unless you turn on cloud sync.
• Account (optional): if you create an account to sync, we store a basic anonymous identifier and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the email address tied to that sign-in. We use this only to link your devices.
• Diagnostics: anonymized crash reports and basic usage analytics that help us fix problems and improve the app. These are never tied to your name.

We do not collect the content of any personal notes beyond what's needed to sync them to your own account, and we never ask for sensitive personal details.

02How your data is used

We use the limited information above to:

• Keep your favorites, history, and streaks in sync across your own devices (Pro only).
• Send the gentle daily reminder you've chosen, at the time you set.
• Deliver new card content that downloads quietly in the background.
• Diagnose crashes and understand which features help people, so we can improve Arbor.

03What we never do

• We never sell your personal data.
• We never share your reflections or history with advertisers.
• We never show ads inside Arbor.
• We never require an account to use the app.

04Subscriptions

Arbor Pro is handled through the App Store and Google Play and managed for us by RevenueCat. Your payment details are processed by Apple or Google, not by Arbor, so we never see your card number. We receive only your subscription status, so we know whether to unlock Pro features.

05Storage and security

Local data sits in your device's private app storage. When you use Pro sync, data travels over an encrypted connection to Cloud Firestore and is associated with your account only. We take reasonable measures to protect it, though no system can promise perfect security.

06Your choices and rights

• Delete your data: from within the app, you can delete your account and data at any time. This wipes your cloud records and local data.
• Sync control: sync only happens if you choose to sign in with Pro. Stay anonymous and nothing leaves your device.
• Notifications: the daily reminder is opt-in and can be turned off whenever you like.

07Children

Arbor is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

08Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above and, for meaningful changes, let you know in the app.
